There's no doubt about it mate. I've seen many public coys I've worked in with high failure rates. The amount of roof tiles boral scraps. The amount of steel blue scope rejects due to machine or operator error. Even a pub coy I work in now I've reduced waste and expenses by more than 20-30%.
Before they didn't work on a large scale and those making them had perfected the procedure but then you fit out a new cool room, add the machines and new staff and it's a whole new ball game.
I personally don't care about it.
I see it as normal and as time goes by its normal for efficiencies to be found.
