Great news for LPI going forward, finally looking like the government wants to work in conjunction with us to maximise value. Going through the courts would have been a lengthy and costly process and it is in the best interests of all parties to ensure that the development of Maricunga is not extensively delayed.
If CEOL is to be approved, offtake agreement is looking very likely to come after. I think the market in general has an extremely negative sentiment on Chile for foreign investment and this is a very important first step to alleviate the issue. Maricunga is a world class asset and I believe we will see the true value reflected in the coming months.
