Picked up the following statement from the recent quarterly....
"Preparations underway to commence initial exploration (Skye Gold Project) – planned activities include auger and RAB drilling to further define new and existing bedrock mineralisation"
And found this reference to RBM drilling...
This is an older exploration drilling method no longer commonly used. Sample quality is less accurate than Air Core due to the use of a single tube. This means that samples have the risk of contamination through contact with the geology of the drill hole. This is because the sample recovery is outside the drill-string. Air Core drilling is different as the sample is isolated from the geology of the drill hole by the sample tube.
