For anyone wanting the original ATO cost base apportionment at the time of demerger:

“...The Commissioner accepts that a reasonable apportionment is to attribute:
40.91% of the total of the cost bases of your Firefinch shares just before the demerger to the Firefinch shares, and
59.09% of the total of the cost bases of your Firefinch shares just before the demerger to the corresponding Leo Lithium shares you acquired under the demerger.”

Unless you are working this out to claim a loss, I'm sure the ATO would agree that long suffering holders here don't need to pay tax on these gains. The tax was the health we lost along the way.
