Yes he certainly isn't like most Exploration company CEOs, he comes across far more knowledgeable and professional. I could definitely see him taking VSR all the way from Exploration to Development and even Production, as he stated his ambitions plans ultimately are.
It is unique to have a Chemical Engineer leading an explorer - but so valuable, in particular when dealing with Rare Earths and Lithium. I imagine many of the institutions who participated in the recent placement would have undertaken their homework / due diligence on Walshe before participation. As he mentioned in the Crux interview, its very rare for someone to have had direct experience with so many Lithium and REE projects, including physically getting on site to the operating mines.
