Yes it wouldn't be surprising at all. Guys like Rick Rule say the primary variable when investing in early stage exploration companies is the quality of Management as they generally won't have an asset that can be valued per se (one cannot calculate an NPV for pre-discovery exploration ground!). And this is where VSR stands out amongst their peers - the credentials of management and the way Walshe is running the business would likely garner confidence from the "big end of town" to take a punt on early stage exploration.
