Your comments suggest that you are not familiar with the detailed business plans for PSD with respect to target markets and logistics.
The farm site is not "in the middle of NT" but in the NW corner with a bitumen road from Kununurra to the farm gate.
The site for the processing plant is in Kununurra - yes it is a long road journey to the east coast but this has been addressed in the recent review and is really only an issue for fresh product and I imagine much of it is likely to be frozen.
The Asian markets for the PSD production are not the low cost commodity markets but the premium table quality prawns which command a premium price, particularly given the provenance of the product from Australia.
The price premium in Asia for fresh premium product will also allow for air freight out of Kununurra where the airport has been expanded to allow Boeing 737 freighters to operate.
