In fact I sold out of SFG last December (at a profit) and realised roughly 10 cents per share. They are now struggling at 5.5c so I have avoided a 45% drop in value which I am very happy with. What is more, these shares could go much lower unless debt funding is forthcoming. To raise this $105M the CR had to be priced at a 36% discount to market. Imagine what the discount will need to be if they need to raise the remaining $180M (phase 1a) in equity. You might save yourself some brokerage by buying into the SPP but you are taking on a whole lot more risk. All IMO and DYOR
