Clearly this plays further into the demand for clean, green aquaculture prawns which are bred from specifically selected stock = the strength of Seafarms produce (including the current N Qld farms, as well as the proposed Project Sea Dragon).
I can see a time coming when there is a substantial displacement of imported prawns by domestic production. And having tasted Crystal Bay prawns one wonders why anyone would consider paying similarly priced offshore prawns when you can buy better quality local produce and assist Australian producers.
