Re this comment in the below ASX announcement (page 2, announcement 8.6.18):
'Talisman's largest shareholder, Mr Kerry Harmanis, has also indicated that he supports the proposed transaction.'

It is now 25 days since the announcement, for KH to have been quoted as indicating support of the proposed transaction, you would be of the belief that he may possibly be aware of more than the average Jo Blow shareholder, re the future TLM strategy, post the possible sale of TLM's 30% Springfield JV.

My point here is that not a lot to date has been forthcoming re any future direction regarding TLM, I personally wonder if KH would have been personally privy to that future direction, or else how would he be able to "indicate" that he supports the transaction. What does he know re Blind Calf, Sinclair, the proportion of cash consideration planned to be given back to TLM shareholders from the sale,
or perhaps is he aware of an untenable JV with SFR,
or may be something else completely.

Being 25 days since the above announcement, is that giving KH's or his close associates an unfair advantage to establish positions? (i.e. by either selling their current TLM shares, or alternately increasing their TLM shareholding). There has been substantial increased volume of shares traded as demonstrated by the graph below (perhaps just regular TLM holders however):

To conclude, I would ask these questions...
Has the average Jo Blow shareholder been informed to date what Kerry has?
Do we as regular shareholders have a level playing field with the big holders?

I think I already know the answers to the above.

I personally wonder just what KH has been privy to, as from what I have read in the past these words would have summed him up: steely, astute, insightful, intelligent, sharp as a tack, foxy, sensible, but most of all gutsy...

IMO from what I know to date, 'gutsy' and 'sensible' would be moving forward with the current SFR/TLM JV.
