This is what I’m saying. It’s a trust game at this end of the market and this kind of thing makes a mockery of it.
Sure the $1 Philippine assets might come good - but you have to trust them on that (for deep water drilling no less!?) and they’ve given no reason for the market to do that so here we are.
The ASX aware query and the apparent naked misrepresentations (at best!) in that announcement should say enough. Even when pulled up by the umpire they still can’t help themselves. Not a straight talker in sight.
