So many lessons to be learned from this. Has to be one of the worst disasters in Aust corporate history particularly given the size of the company. Interested to see what will happen now with credibility of AG and Co. so substantially reduced. What will their loyal union clients do? What will happen to their hereto remunerative CA practice.? We can only speculate. I give their actions against Watchstone little chance , most of what they paid has been disbursed anyway(they were dealing with very sophisticated advisers too so imo little chance of success there?). We can only speculate but the Australian operation could be be broken up with core lawyers leaving and setting up smaller offshoots. I am not concerned that AG and his right hand man have lost a fortune. They carry the responsibility. What a tragedy for all involved. I feel for the CFO, it must have been a nightmare 2 years for him .
