Good announcement just now, headlined as follows:

Some points of interest for me:

• 3 'solid hits', each shallow and with good grade (oxide);
• obviously will add to Collerina resource being so nearby to existing Resource Model envelope (e.g. see Figure 1);
• additional upside is nice, with zone open to SE;
• gold addition is handy, in 2 of the 7 RC holes - CORC0140 and CORC0141;
• failure (by the previous exploration team) to log "a significant number of historical RC holes ...which were 'under-sampled' ..." is very disappointing. However full credit to Mike Rosenstreich (and his new team) for finding and surfacing that earlier shortcoming by the earlier exploration team, and for now taking an open-minded approach in search of further upside,
• as Filbee has said, with only 7 RC holes assayed so far, there will be plenty newsflow to come e.g:

** there seem to be be more RC results due in November;
** RCDD assay results are expected in December i.e. for the 14 diamond tails ...
** am not sure when we'll get assays for the metallurgical holes - 2 of which (CODD0132 and CODD0133 contained visible chalcocite)...

It has been a very frustrating past (until the arrival of Mike Rosenstreich) with Collerina holes missing their targets more than once through uncorrected drilling deviations, and also with the resource assessment - all under the previous team, I stress. That was then; this is now. Looking forward, and thanks to MR's arrival and his obviously fresh, disciplined and diligent approach, I'm quietly optimistic again about Collerina. Today's announcement shows there's obvious upside; it's just a question of how much and how long it will take to work that out.

I'm still very bullish on the potential for significant regional discoveries, so I can hardly wait for when the new team to head north a bit and get stuck into some exploration drilling. Bring it on team ...
