It's detailed in the bidder's statement today. If Shandong don't get to 90% then the shares could still trade with Shandong in control of the company but with no offer in place (ie the share price could go lower than $1.075). If they do get to 90% then they will compulsorily acquire the other 10%.
Personally I think that this will move to 90% relatively quickly now. And if they don't get there by 12 January they'll probably just do an extension of the offer until they do.
Looks like it is game over (not that I've sent the form back yet - partly because I bought a few on 31 Dec last year so want those to tick over 12 months for CGT discount).
