It may be around $20,000 revenue for the quarter... I would think much, much less though. It would really depend on how many paying users they've been able to retain. A lot happened last quarter (including the World Cup) and they only managed $16,000 in receipts from customers.
Remembering during last quarter, SportsHero China received 56,062,214 views, 692,157 visits and 9,083 registered users (important to note that I believe these are not paying subscribers - just users who signed up). That's a conversion rate of 1.23% from views to visits - and 1.31% from visits to users. Assuming the same conversion percentage that would mean about 115 paid subscribers.
From a marketing point of view that may be about an average conversion rate. I would say about a percentage lower than average from my experience. But demonstrates that they will need to get in front of multiple hundreds of millions of users to obtain any 'decent' revenue.
Put into perspective - when I did marketing for a motorcycle retail store (motorcycle clothing), one EDM newsletter promoting a single product to their 30,000 user mailing list would on average generate $30,000-$50,000+ in sales - weekly. Granted this is advertising a product at a higher price point. Which brings me back to their revenue model being very difficult to be able to generate good returns. On top of that, any revenue brought from subscribers from a 'partnership' will be halved (50/50 revenue agreement).
Quarterly due this month so we'll see. Excessive expenditure is expected and won't be a surprise, and revenue is guaranteed to pale in comparison either way, in my opinion.
