If they see pay dirt (and Im assuming they have an XRF handy), they can plan another hole on the spot (assuming they have sections or software).

Also assuming they can plan off existing pads and not need additional earthworks. It's all common sense pragmatic stuff really and can keep momentum building. Letting go of a rig when there is sparkies is a sackable offence maybe?
