Look I hear what you say but you are wrong
You obviously haven't read any of the papers written on the subject and have no idea about sedimentary geology and condense distal sequences.
Basically the deeper target reservoir rocks outcrop in the mountains along the coast of Northern California, in this location they are immature coarse grained and contain large pebbles bands etc. Then at Alvares the rock are more mature, medium to fine grains and at Dempsey they are?
Who knows but we know that they are distal from the main source rock are.
