Sigh - the SW-NE section you present is a strike section and is not along the present day structural dip or the paleo depositional dip.
Constenius presents the paleo dip model on page 1718 of the same paper. It clearly shows provenance from the east and a thick marine section in the west. Clearly showing he disagrees with you.
Pretty funny when the one paper you cite (and I suspect they only one you have) clearly disagrees with you. Yes, Williams is an author on both but the one I cite is his most recent (2013) - which is why I cited it.
So your reservoir conclusion is wrong and based on nothing.
Your statement on gas charge is blank (are you saying the Early Cretaceous section at Alvares is not gas charged and the Late Cretaceous producing sands of the Sacramento Basin does not prove a working petroleum system?).
I conclude your technical opinion cannot be trusted.
