fluffer yes but I cant say what mgt are running with. I dont know. but I cans ay this, and this is the important facts as far as I am concerned

weathered rock (phases 1,2, 3) yields 70% liquid hydrocarbons
the expected standard for most coal to liquids projects is 70% liquid hydrocarbons
Alpha's cannelite and (high yield) torbanite can be expected to at least perform to this standard

phase 4 tested fresh rock
i imagine they were expecting fresh rock to liquify the same yields as the weathered rock,
but it didn't.
interim phase 4 showed (i guess) 25-35% liquid hydrocarbons

there is no weathered rock in the resource, its all fresh
and they budgeted and timeframed to deliver a PFS now
so they have to apply the fresh rocks results (25-35%) to the jorc upgrade and PFS
this hugely undersells the project.

all they need is a little more time and money to re-jig the testing and fix their testing mistake (which was using weathered rock instead of fresh rock from the beginning)

fresh rock will still have the same amount of hydrocarbons.
the weathering process didnt magically upgrade the the hydrocarbon content.
70% liquid hydrocarbon yields and 30% bitumen yields is there for the taking, they just got caught short of money and time.
