For the record, commodity trading companies generally dont hold inventory. They do a lot of arbitrage like opportunities. Forwards, futures. Thats just the industry. They dont hold inventory.
thats what omhs trading biz looks like.
IR side mentioned that they dont hold inventory. They r the marketing side for the smelter. So the inventories r all for the smelter side.
9 to 10 months of inventory going by cost of production.
so thats about 5-6 months of electricity inventory if the industry average for smelter is 3 to 4 months?
