no biggie. Index inclusion is just additional pressure on the buy side (from Insto + ST traders speculating on demand pressure). Others might consider inclusion as a show of confidence in the underlying business, but in this case (and most often the case) it’s simply that a MC criteria has been hit which mandates the stocks purchase by the fund.
The case here is just a quantitative f’ up by the fund (quite embarrassing really). AGE will be back in when 50m MC USD is hit. But this fund has shown its colours already - who cares if we’re in or out of a fund that can’t work exchange rates… lol!
all short term noise. A fund buy in is just short term added weight to the buy side and nothing else.
