Well yes, porthos, there's quite a few posts on other threads theorising how they would fund a purchase, since they announced it in the last QR, have you read those threads?
my theory is they obviously have no cash, but they didn't part with any cash the last time they went into Kaz, that's the place where they have kudos, they repeatedly stated they would be back when they pulled out and I suspect they could pull off another such deal on much better terms (again paid for only with their expertise) now the Kaz govt has made the investment environment more conducive with tax breaks and reduced bureaucracy. if so, I would still expect a commitment to drilling costs, exactly as before and that will mean capital raising, but hopefully in double digits rather than 1c.
If it's not Kaz, I have no idea how they could pull off something with no cash that nobody else hasn't already made a better offer on.
not saying I have any idea and not saying anybody who went through Kaz experience last time is likely to want to invest in it again, but there's always new investors with new money to be found. the difference is they also have WA projects shaping up nicely this time.
