Yes, it’s pretty poor behaviour but par for the course on the ASX.

I bought in this month as an insurance policy on DGO getting more sweetheart shares in DEG in the months ahead or DGO even pairing up with a partner and trying to take DEG out. But now I get stiffed on this placement. There’s no escape for retail shareholders!

When they say ‘sophisticated’ investors, they normally mean brokers, whose clients then sell on small gains in the share price. I hope these new arrivals are going to be more committed, but the discount is a big one.
