I think we are looking at a new company today with an emergent new strategic direction. I don't Shorricks has not joined the board for steady as she goes. He has had a couple of good shakes at getting listed companies revalued via brownfield high grade gold plays. Whether this will be the case with cy5 remains to be seen, however I'm anticipating further acquisitions/farmins and possible divestments in the coming months. In addition while the previous management kept the capital structure very tight (something I personally have a preference for in investment screening), I'm expecting the new guys to be not so bound and will be using the share register to fund acquisitions etc. All in all then, it's a new day and a new company as far as I'm concerned. The new guys have come in with a lot of hype and were not cheap. Let's hope they live up to it.
