re: Ann: Share Purchase Plan Allotment and Re... Shady, I think you have misread this.
Firstly the company advised shareholders on a few occasions that the SPP could be closed early if it was oversubscribed.
Secondly, they accepted all applications that were posted/wired before the announcement of closure. They only closed the offer a few days early, so investors had plenty of time to get on board. Perfectly ethical behaviour IMO.
