Not sure if this has been discussed previously ...but in view of the recent strength of the share price ( and for that matter , most battery minerals ) , it will be interesting to see what happens to the price if :
a) Syrah decides to accept applications over and above the $12 M SPP sought , and to what level of $$$$$'s ---indicating the overwhelming take-up ; or
b) if Syrah decides to invoke the scale back provisions , and how hard the cut back is --still indicating the overwhelming support , but many investors cut short of required applications.
Probably a bit of a win/win ---but on balance , Syrah having cash in the bank , never a bad thing !
Whether investors who are scaled back ( if that occurs) are prepared to buy on market at prevailing prices ..or wait in the hope that the price drifts back towards the issue price of 90c ...will probably be governed by the strength and progress of the Quarterly out tomorrow .
But an interesting position developing ..whilst really not a lot of fresh news in todays Presentation , certainly no lack of facts underpinning the growing EV raw material demand .
