The trials and tribulations of a "penny" stock - that's what we have to deal with at this stage of our lifecycle folks - I haven't seen too many pennys that are immune to these situations.
ANP thankfully (IMO) has some serious R&D underpinning things, as well as, most importantly, some heavy hitting, well credentialed management/directors...this is what it takes to "make" a company.
