There had been some discussion around PH shorting the stock. If in fact PH did short the stock it is not that unusual or that sinister. Think of all the investors that short the Dow as a natural hedge against their stock portfolio.
Or investors that short their own currency to hedge their ccy risk for investments offshore.
If PH did short Imugene it may have been to protect a percentage of the value of his holdings moving forward.
