Education Australia are selling 5% of their stake, according to this article over at AFR (link below). Wonder what to make of it?
Could it be that the peak body does not see light at the end of the tunnel in the near future? Or simply a sign of all the universities being strapped for cash, and would rather forego higher returns to boost their liquidity? I'm leaning towards the second reason, particularly with the sale occurring so close to the end of the FY?
