I agree. Sold out of Aussie Broadband (ABB) to take up my SPP in my SMSF at an absolutely guaranteed profit. $6.80 SPP and even after a dilution, equates to $1.00 per share gain. I’m surprised too that more SH didn’t take up the offer, perhaps PDL is seen as dull and boring and not exciting enough for SH that like to “fiddle” with their portfolio ? I haven’t heard anything negative about their US acquisition and by all accounts, it should prove to be a real asset. I applied for $15k and got my full allocation.
@geffa9, I miss your point... if they are multi millionaires and only have $8k of PDL, doesn’t that show a lack of confidence in the company ? I too was surprised that the smaller SH were more penalised than the mid sized SH, but I guess that is PDLs way of saying “you show us yours, and I’ll show you mine !”
