I'd have to say it's been a "baffling" couple of TLX weeks:

• share price neatly tracks higher to reach $8.67 closing high on 14 Jan
• trading halt for large CR comes out of the blue on 20 Jan - CR at what appeared to be a reasonable price of $7.70
• coming out of the trading halt on 24 Jan, the share price not only heads back to the CR $7.70, but plunges to as low as $6.82 on huge (ASX) volume of over 7.8m shares - included in those were over 1.4m shorts
• perhaps on the back of the general market demise from 21-27 Jan, TLX continues to drop sharply to finish at $6.24 on 28 Jan, down 28% from its Jan high
• TLX makes a promising recovery to $7.45 on lower volume days on 31 Jan to 2 Feb, meaning the SPP $7.70 is in sight
• the share price then in the last week fell back below $7 & struggled to get any momentum
• yesterday (9 Feb), the share price is dropped over 3% to $7 in the closing auction, in which over 7m shares changed hands - or is that changed accounts??
• on 8 Feb, TLX announces positive Ph1 trial in Japanese patients - on its web site news, but not as an ASX announcement - we find out via HotCopper news
• similarly on 9 Feb, TLX announces a global clinical supply agreement for lutetium-177 on its website - again no ASX announcement
• before the open on 9 Feb, TLX does announce an extension of the SPP to 25 Feb which appears to be the day after TLX is expected to issue it's half-yearly report

It's hard to know whether TLX is desperate to give the share price a chance to recover to $7.70, or is confident that it will recover in that timeframe given what news MAY be coming. I don't understand why those last two pieces of news weren't ASX announcements, even if they were "non-sensitive". Why wouldn't TLX be trying every trick they can to lift the share price - unless they have something imminent up their sleeves of more significance (I hope!).

And what was yesterday's 7m share closing auction all about - will that signal some changed share price action or changed shorts positions (not evident so far today in pretty quiet trading!)??
