Weebit nano (Wbt) went through exactly this same scenario just recently. It closed oversubscribed.
Also, I only received my spp application forms this week so it may be that the extension is just fair allowance for a mail hold up.
Some pretty crappy companies come up with far more funding than this, they'll get the money one way or another.
