You don't know if you will get your full allocation at 48c - but the reduction in share price allows you to buy a lot at a bit over $1.48. In my case the full 40,000 shares I bought cost me $1072 more than if I could have acquired them at $1.48 - but I would only have got about half at $1.48 and that many only if the allocation was 100%. The first dividend on those 40k extra shares will be $2200.
