LME Cobalt hit an all time high overnight since its GFC days 10 years ago at USD$64,000 per tonne - a substantial jump, one of its biggest in recent times.
Since the Scoping Study, I've only ever been focused on the Cobalt price, wasn't worried about the extraction rates / tonnage / JV Structure / Capex costs - these all stack up....the Cobalt price is the main driver.
After all....anything in the ground is only viable / worthwhile extracting it if you can do it at a profit.
If we see the Cobalt Price pushing towards USD$70,000 per ton over the coming period, this will ignite a lot of Cobalt Stocks in addition to many of these Company's doing what they can to fast track projects & capitalise on the higher prices.
Interesting week coming up.
Cheers
