Similar situation here I expected refund to my account I paid into.
After I updated my bank account details with MUFG I phoned the registrar and asked them to cancel the cheque. Reason being I’m on holiday in Australia and won’t be back in NZ for another three months. MUFG advised my refund will appear in my Australian account within 4 weeks.
