I feel they will allow an oversubscription. Short term it may not accelerate the SP as investors would like, however mid-term will give SPT the required capital to be a serious competitor in a competitive BNPL industry.

Why else include this clause in the first section?

Splitit Share Purchase Plan (SPP) Terms and Conditions
1.1 Under the SPP, each Eligible Shareholder (defined below) has the opportunity to participate in the SPP Offer by
subscribing for up to $30,000 of SPP Shares subject to the following Terms and Conditions. Splitit intends to raise a
maximum of $10 million under the SPP Offer, however, the Company reserves the right to accept oversubscriptions
in its discretion.

My opinion only, I've been on the ride for a while and excited to see this company grow.
