They aren't making a loss. They get a commission for the placement. They get what profit they can and see the "left overs" above their nett cost. They can also sell and buy at "half a pip" and use computer trading to make sure they come out on top. Once they clear their holding we will see some consolidation. I doubled my holding by buying on market.
