No way. Other alt-energy companies are going gangbusters. IMHO, the $20m placement was oversubscribed and they want more ! ! !
You only need to own 1 AVL share to qualify for $30k worth of SPP shares at the fixed price of $0.047 - but only if they are not over subscribed. So, if someone wants ALL $7.5 million SPP shares on offer, all they have to do is have access to 250 CHESS numbers (eg. a hedge fund), buy one share with each CHESS number and then ramp the AVL share price down below the SPP price (using your own or borrowed shares) so that retail share holders don't bother with the SPP.
If you tried to buy $7.5m worth of AVL shares on market, you would be paying a lot more than 4.7c. The good news is, whoever is doing this wants the sp to ramp back up (big time) after the SPP allocation is done.
