    Very easy answer to that...the same reason 90% of companies float on the ASX

    The vendors know they can never sell their companies privately as no-one would buy them...so they get mug shareholders to buy it and then use the shareholder funds to pay the salaries that the company doesn't earn enough revenue to pay itself

    Then there is the bonus if the share price rises since it adds value to the shares they issued to themselves for nothing

    It's a win win win for them
