You opened that can of worms by mentioning SAR investment horizons.
My point with SAR is that for a time during the retail entitlement offer the offer price was above the market price (out of the money). Therefore the demand is certainly not the same as this one. Regardless, I participated on SARs Retail entitlement offer by applying for more than what was allocated and got it.
Further, fair or not we all need to move on from this SPP. It is clear that I will only get a fraction of my 3,333 shares ($30k) in this SPP. Whatever fraction that might be at the end of the day, does not bother me, nor should it bother anyone that's bought into NST (or SAR for that matter) for the fundamental reason of it being a fantastic company.
