Why do you think there would be any need for a trading halt?
Also, they would have extended before the deadline if that was necessary (the company would have been tracking the $$$ in the SPP bank account up until close). If somehow this SPP is undersubscribed (highly unlikely), you can bet your bottom dollar they'll give more to the sophs, as they reserved their right to do so, in the SPP booklet. If that's what they end up doing, at least they can't be accused of giving the sophs special treatment as retail shareholders have now had their chance.
Going to be an interesting week. Fingers and toes crossed BRU gets a vote of support/confidence from its shareholders and this thing is oversubscribed. I'm hoping by around $600k-$1m and that BRU elects to fill everyone's applications. A bit more hydrogen from Ramsay 2 is the other thing I'd love to see this week. GLTAH.
