I wonder if the weakness in the SP in the near term, could be attributed to the recent payment through shares....
Though to be honest, sentiment in the sector is still tepid at best, particularly for developers.
I do hope that the SPP gets a good takeup, as the extra cash can be easily put to use drilling, or just making sure they have a very strong cash position going into actual mine ramp up.
For anyone that needs a little confirmation bias, Hartley's has put up a new broker report on Calidus' website. Obviously they are very positive on the stock, they just got their clients to buy a heap of shares....
Even if the SPP does not get filled, CAI, should.... should be fully funded (assuming they are careful and face no major issues).
They do still need to pay for Blue Spec.
Either way, I think we are likely in for a somewhat quiet period for CAI, at least in regards to the share price. Happy to be proven wrong, as I have my core position.
