AAR have a valuable deposit but agree this last equity raise has been done poorly. I thought they would get a strong partner in after the resource upgrade but have used a small broker. What’s worse is the SPP hanging around for another month, so share price will go nowhere. They didn’t need to look after shareholders by offering a steep discounted capital raise, they need to look after shareholders by increasing share price.
Astral is a low liquid stock not unusual for a junior gold company in current environment but as someone else mentioned, considering they were at Diggers it’s disappointing they haven’t found any buyers.
But that comes back to the capital raise. After the last resource upgrade earlier in year and doing another 20,000m drilling program they should have been lining up someone with financial capacity to have been involved in this last raise, maybe someone who will fully support the company with the eye on development. Fully support the company, lift share price, assist in the next significant raise to progress development.
Astral has a great resource, Theia continues to grow - that should be their focus, drilling it out at least as much as they can with RC. If management had been able to use 2 RC rigs at the same time at any point in the last 3 years, we would be further advanced.
Astral board and management getting well paid and performance shares, need to do better for shareholders.
