FEG is trying to be fair to its many shareholders who couldn't participate in the s708 placement.
I think it's perfectly reasonable for them to make this SPP offer, especially as they are about to launch very important drilling programs and a resource definition.
It will dampen share price activity during the offer period, but it will raise important additional capital and give all shareholders somewhat equal footing.
