The following from the SPP Offer

New shares will be allotted on Thursday 15th Dec and Holding Statements dispatched Tuesday 20th December.

You can trade your New Shares after the Allotment Date. However given the possibility that applications may be scaled back, you should confirm your holding on or after the Allottment Date before trading any New Shares you believe you have acquired under the Offer.

The notice of meeting on Monday 19th December states that votes will be as per the Register of Shareholders as at 7.00pm Sydney time on 17th December 2011.

All good. I got the dates confused....should have read both docs together. New shares will be counted.
