Very true. The disappointing factor to me is the inability of management to manage the growth phase of the business. Woeful cost control is another factor that has irked me. It’s fine to grow revenue but costs need to be reined in if ever profitability is to be gained. There have been many missteps over the last 12 months & perhaps the obvious passion, drive & love of the business by the CEO is simply not enough to get the business to where it needs to be. Consideration should be given to bringing in an external professional CEO with China experience, IF experience, dairy experience & marketing experience. There is a soon to be available CEO located across the Tasman who would be ideal & who may want a turnaround challenge.
