. For an unlisted option the valuation is usually inferred by something called a Black Scholes Calculator which is a formula for assessing time remaining and price premium against a couple of other nominated variables. You can google and gave a look. For oppies on a wildcat explorer it’s a little bit better than a guess. The disclaimers on the calculator outline its limitations.
If an option is listed, the market will ascribe a value once trading commences.
