As Trolley touched on it, many are scared of a bear market at the moment and the small caps space is heavily exposed to these macro moves. This sell off has nothing to do with the fundamentals of the business.

To preserve cash in a larger equity portfolio investors/ fundies cut the little more illiquid guys first. Times like this (it's also aided by a recent capital raise), the buyers all dry up and the sellers keep hitting the bids. The 9.5Mio SPP shares that have been locked up the last couple weeks just started trading. When you also factor in CFD/ leveraged trading (potentially for clearing margins) on low volume stocks and the volatility goes ballistic. You just have to hold on for the ride.

I suspect the June tax selling to ramp up in the short term as well.

Oversold times like these people get to buy at incredible levels across the whole market when all the "smart" ones are saying not too.. It's just having the balls to follow your gut and pull the trigger when you are feeling the sickest in the stomach. Not many do.
