Predictions on all fronts are rife whether that be market corrections or crash or commodity pricing. Supply/demand, inflationary pressures, supply chain issues, further covid issues and the current war all contribute to uncertainty. Markets hate uncertainty and many are fearful irrespective whether that is rational or not.

Some sectors are way down - not pretty. In general, whether one should head for the exit or stay put and go with the ride depends on individual circumstances and risk appetite. Shares are way down and unless more drastic world events unfold, hopefully sp will be looking at double digits sometime down the track.

It took a long time to recover from paper losses from the good old GFC days - hope for a shorter recovery from current downturn - some predictions seem to indicate otherwise. However, no one knows for certain - there are always surprises - either way. By no means an expert.
