at 5.1c yesterday it wouldn't have made much difference I.t.o value but the difference is that by participating in the SPP you are inherently supporting the company by giving them funds to use to further their and your cause whereas if you buy from another shareholder you are not... it is just a transfer of ownership.

I understand though what you are after, and no one can answer, is if you will get your full allocation... i would say if oversubscribed it could be scaled back by around 30% but that is just my guess.
